The San Diego Supplier Development Council (SDSDC) is comprised of small business advocates and purchasing professionals who represent local private industry and government agencies. The members participate at networking luncheons for small businesses to connect with representatives from government agencies, non-government support agencies and prime contractors.
Meetings are held on a quarterly basis, with 2016 meetings occurring on Wednesdays at the Lions Club of San Diego, 310 S. Market Street, San Diego, CA. The luncheon meetings will begin with networking and registration at 11:30 am. Lunch and program will be from Noon to 1 pm. The cost of the luncheon will be $30.00. Parking is available at Horton’s Plaza, about a block away from the Lions Club. To pre-register, please click here.
Agency representatives, as well as representatives from small and large businesses are welcome to attend. Meetings provide an effective networking opportunity for small business while providing agencies and large prime businesses with opportunities to identify new suppliers and service providers.
Eligible small businesses desiring to make a five minute presentation (see FAQs) to showcase their company and promote their products and/or services should first attend at least one regularly scheduled quarterly meeting, they will then be eligible to complete the Small Business Presentation Application.
Council members desiring to recommend a specific small business to make a presentation, request a presentation from a certain type of business, or recommend a guest speaker, should fill out the Small Business Referral/Request form.
